All of the carbon indicated are chiral since they are bonded to four different groups. The top carbon is attached to a hydrogen, a hydroxyl group, a hydroxymethyl group and the ring; the bottom carbon is attached to a hydrogen, an oxygen, an sp2 carbon, and the diol side-chain.
