The files listed below each contain one chiral molecule which can be manipulated using the Chemscape Chime plugin from MDL. In each of these exercises, you will be required to assign priorities around the chiral center(s), rotate the molecule into an appropriate conformation, and determine if the absolute configuration of the molecule is R or S. Help files and explanations are available for each molecule. If you wish to do the molecules in sequence, begin with the Sample Problem and continue through the set.
