The following problem set presents data for the mass spectrum for an unknown compound. Using the MS and analytical data, you should attempt to identify structural units which are present in the molecule; it will generally be impossible to generate a unique structure based on the mass spectrum alone. Review materials are available through the MENU above and "hints" and interpretations are provided for each spectrum. You should attempt to work the spectra in order; you may, however, jump to any problem in the set by clicking on the problem number below. Clicking on the "Begin" button will take you to Problem #1.
