Spectroscopy
The Spectroscopy Tutorial consists of a series of short reviews covering IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and Mass Spectroscopy. Following these reviews, spectra are presented within each area, and the user is guided through the interpretation. Finally, a set of ten "integrated spectroscopy problems" are presented in which IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy data are provided for each compound. Again, the student is guided through the interpretation process. Additionally, a multiple choice quiz is included which covers all aspects of spectroscopy. The spectroscopy tutorial is designed to:- supplement the discussion of spectroscopy in standard texts
- provide examples for practice and review, and
- guide students through the interpretation process using the features available in a hypertext document.
