UIC Chemistry NMR / Varian Lab (2032 SEL)
This page is dedicated to our new Varian Mercury-Vx-300 NMR spectrometer which is in Room 2032 SEL. This spectrometer is dedicated to providing NMR support for our Department's undergraduate teaching laboratories. This spectrometer was upgraded from a VXR-S system in June 2000. The Mercury system also includes a 50-sample sample-changer accessory which incorporates a Zymark robot.

Above are a couple of views of the new Mercury system.

The RF console is the small unit on the left of the left photo.

The sample-changer robot can be seen in the right photo.
