UIC Chemistry - NMR Facility

UIC Chemistry NMR / 4130 SES Lab
This page is dedicated to our new laboratory in room 4130 of the SES building. This lab now houses our Bruker AM-400 and AC-200 spectrometers. These were moved during late September 1999, with the very able assistance of Mike Govang from M. R. Resources. During the move the spectrometers were cleaned and refurbished, and the new lab was cleaned as well, so we now have a nice location for our routine-use NMR's. Another benefit of 4130 SES is that it has a supplemental A/C unit to keep the lab cool all year.

Above are a couple of views of the AM-400 console.

Above are the two magnets.

Above left is the PC and right is the AC-200 console.
NOTE: in October 2004 the AC-200 was decommissioned.
